Work Search Requirements
South Carolina Work Registration Program
You must register with SC Works to receive benefits. SC Works offers job-search assistance, connects employers with qualified applicants, and provides training and other job-related resources. Workers collecting unemployment insurance benefits in South Carolina are required to keep a work-search log with detailed information about all work-search activities for each week you claim benefits.
The SC Works website can be used by anyone, not just those collecting unemployment insurance benefits. SC Works offers many tools for those seeking employment or career guidance.
