Oregon Unemployment Office
The Oregon unemployment office is located in downtown Salem and is managed by the Department of Employment. It has a stated mission to “ Support economic stability for Oregonians and communities during times of unemployment through the payment of unemployment benefits.”

It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and allows visitors, though it's best to make an appointment first. Once here, you can file for unemployment online or get help from one of the many employment experts inside.
