Arkansas’s Unemployment Office
The Arkansas Department of Workforce Services in an all-inclusive entity that offers a realm of services and opportunities. The Unemployment Insurance Administration is one part of the state-run organization.
The Department oversees various welfare programs and job development programs, such as TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families), and the Career Readiness Program. It also services and advises employers about programs such as the Work Opportunity Tax Credit and Unemployment Employer Services.
You will correspond with the department in person, by mail, phone, and via the internet. You will be expected to comply with all reasonable requests from the department in order to maintain your eligibility to collect unemployment insurance benefits.
