Work Search Requirements
North Dakota Work Registration Program
Within 10 days of filing a claim for benefits, you must register to work and create at least one online resume with Jobsnd.com. Visit Jobsnd.com and click on “find a job”. This will take you to the job force center where you will register to work with Job Service North Dakota. This is where you will create or upload your required resume. It is important that you do this within the first 10 days to ensure your will remain eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits. It is also important to keep it active and up to date at least every 90 days. Inactive resumes that are not kept up to date will cause a stop to your benefits until you comply with all eligibility requirements.
You must also seek employment every week in order to continue to collect benefits. This includes making a minimum for four job connections every week. Depending on where you live, you could be required to make more than four, which will be listed on your Monetary Determination letter that you will receive after applying to collect benefits.
