What You Need for Work Registration

When following your work registration requirement, you need personal information, your educational history, and past career contacts. You will also need to have several personal references.

Each week, you will need to make at least two job contacts and include the following information in your log entry:

  • Date of job search
  • The contact name and phone number of each employer if contacted via the phone
  • The contact name and email address or fax if applying for a job through email or fax
  • The link to the website of the employer if you applied online
  • A copy of your job application, if applicable

You will need to provide written work search records to DOES when requested. You are also required to register for work through your local American Job Center and you must begin the work search following the week in which your claim was filed.
