The Office of Unemployment Insurance Operations is governed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. ODJFS also coordinates many other services including food assistance, Medicaid, child support, and more. Each county in the state of Ohio has office locations where you can apply for assistance programs and get information. However, if you cannot apply directly in person for Unemployment Insurance benefits, you can get information, forms, and access to a computer should you need one to submit an application.
