Minnesota’s Unemployment Office

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) is the state’s primary economic development agency, which drives workforce and community development, helping job seekers and businesses create healthy communities. DEED runs the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance Program that provides benefits to Minnesota workers who become unemployed or have their hours dramatically reduced.

You can contact customer service for the Minnesota unemployment insurance office  by phone during normal hours of operation, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays. You can visit the DEED headquarters at the First National Bank Building in downtown St. Paul.
